Rapid antigen testing is a screening tool to help detect COVID-19 in people without any symptoms of COVID-19.
Rapid antigen testing involves a nasal swab (using a small cotton bud) that is placed into a chemical solution. The result displays in about 10 minutes.
We only use registered Rapid antigen test kits approved in Australia by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) which have undergone extensive clinical trials and local validation data including from the Doherty Institute and NSW Health.
Rapid antigen testing is used by the Commonwealth Government and AUSMAT for daily testing of staff at quarantine facilities and on international deployments. It is also currently used by NSW Health and various large private companies across Australia.
Due to its speed (10 minutes), ease-of-use and low cost, rapid antigen testing is highly suitable for high volume, frequent onsite-screening of large groups.
How it works
Our Rapid Antigen Testing is conducted by trained health practitioners who understand the importance of professionalism, confidentiality and minimising
workplace disruption.
We can accommodate multiple visits to meet operational requirements, rostering or exposure concerns.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration sets out regulations that apply to the use of rapid antigen test kits and conditions of supply. We cannot supply rapid antigen test kits to individuals for personal use or self testing.
